Data Disaster?

One-third of IT professionals believe that a major data breach could put their company out of business. The findings come from a global survey, conducted for McAfee by Datamonitor, of 1,400 IT professionals at companies with at least 250 employees. Another finding: 60 percent of respondents said they had experienced a data breach in the past year. Still, respondents said they spend just one-half of one percent of their overall IT budgets on data security.
