They are focusing now on the European Union but hope to upgrade the system to analyze data from around the world in real time to warn of incidents on a weekly basis. In light of a new federal law overhauling the nation’s food safety program, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has outlined its new regulatory strategy for increasing the safety of imported food.
