Nuclear Facility Security
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued a proposed rule requiring that nuclear facilities conduct risk assessments, implement training exercises, and enhance security programs. Under the proposed rule, nuclear facilities would be required to conduct risk assessments to ensure that plant activities are consistent with safety and security. Nuclear facilities would also be required to conduct scenario training exercises with security personnel. Read the full text.
