The percentage of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employees who say they are satisfied or very satisfied with their jobs. The percentage of satisfied TSA staffers rose 24 percent from 2004, when the first survey was conducted. A further 69 percent of the respondents said they planned to stay within the five-year-old agency for the next 12 months.

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has issued instructions to federal contractors on criminal background screening of employees. The OFCCP’s directive urges contractors to consider federal antidiscrimination laws before refusing to hire applicants based on the results of criminal background checks.
