Quick Bytes: Measuring risk

 Fifty-eight percent of businesses rank reducing network risk as their number-one concern, but half of these businesses have no effective way to measure or report on network security risk. Almost half the 1,700 companies polled by network security company nCircle reported they did not even have a current, accurate profile of all the applications and versions, operating systems, and IP devices running on their networks.
