The Web is crawling with malware. But a new search engine lets surfers check a site’s safety before visiting. It lets users employ one of three major search engines: Google, Yahoo!, or MSN, and displays results in the chosen engine’s format. Each result is scanned for anything malicious. Placed next to its link is a green check mark, a yellow question mark, or a red cross. The site is based on Web security technology from Scansafe that currently scans billions of Web requests for corporations. It’s this month’s Site to See.
