Access Control

Appears in the issue.

Idesco Corporation of New York City has launched the Access Touch touch screen terminal with an integrated computer including an internal RFID reader. It can be used as an independent standalone unit or connected wirelessly to the company’s readers to operate as the control unit of a totally wireless access control system. It operates with Linux or Windows operating systems and can be used for time and attendance, payments, and alarm control. Its wireless technology allows users to build an identification system for an event or on a remote site where cable installation is difficult. The system can be transferred from place to place.
