Access Control Management

Appears in the issue.

Videx, Inc., of Corvallis, Oregon, has introduced a standalone version of its CyberAudit-Web Lite software. Designed for small businesses, this user-friendly software works in conjunction with CyberLock electronic locks and keys to create a complete access control system without wiring. The software allows a manager to program each user’s key to access selected locks on specific days and times. A key can also be preset with a deactivation date. Both locks and keys record openings and denied entries, providing a detailed audit report. The software accommodates installations of up to 50 locks and 50 keys. It runs on a PC or Mac and needs to be installed on only one computer in a local area network. A server version is available for access over the Internet.
