Matrix Systems of Dayton, Ohio, has released its Frontier 2010 access control software, which features built-in interfaces for both Schlage and Videx CyberLock wireless hardware. The software is a comprehensive and scalable security solution that provides real-time monitoring of access doors and alarm points for local and remote locations. The latest version offers built-in interfaces for Schlage wireless lock solutions, which can be installed five to 10 times faster than wired lock alternatives. The built-in interface for CyberLock electronic lock cylinders allows the CyberLock to record access events via the Frontier software. A wizard-based import-export capability allows users to customize data formatting, data fields, and the amount of data transferred. The new software allows users to import background images and combine them with CAD and custom-drawn images that can be edited within the software.
