SANYO Security Systems of Chatsworth, California, has developed a new technology for reproducing images more naturally and with greater clarity. The Advanced WDR Surveillance Camera achieves greater dynamic range using a new linear output method for best performance under varying light conditions. It uses a unique algorithm to individually process each pixel so that image data has the widest possible dynamic range. The VCC-W8774 color camera and the VCC-WD8874 day-or-night camera offer sophisticated automatic white-balancing, digital noise reduction, electronic shutter function, electronic iris function, and a minimum illumination requirement of 0.8 lux.
