Electro-Metrics of Johnstown, New York, has introduced the EM-6857 ultra-wide­band, om­ni­di­rec­tional, passive antenna. The device performs over a frequency range from 20 MHz to 40 GHz for technical surveillance countermeasures and signals intelligence applications. The 2-pound, 4-inch-diameter, 17-inch-long antenna reduces the number of antennas required to cover the spectrum and eliminates batteries required by a broadband active antenna. It is perfect for applications demanding rugged design and minimal size and complexity. The antenna comes with a white radome and a tripod-mounting bracket. Available options include a flat black finish and a vehicle roof mount.
