ASSET SECURITY

The BACS ID Station kiosk from LEID Products of Au­burn Hills, Michigan, serves as the control point for access to assets stored in electronic storage units. The asset management system is designed for law enforcement and military facilities to provide secure storage and tracking of sensitive items such as weap­ons, controlled medications, and evidence. The kiosk houses a fingerprint reader for access verification, RFID or barcode reader for asset verification, and an optional card reader for additional security. Enhancements to the new­est version include all-steel, tamperproof construction; a larger kiosk screen; and wheels for easy relocation.
