Auditing Locks

Appears in the issue.

The CyberAudit-Web Enterprise is a browser-based software program that offers cellular communication to remotely program user keys in the field. Made by Videx, Inc., of Corvallis, Oregon, the system allows access authorization to be sent to keys via a cellular PDA, providing on-demand access that eliminates the security risks of lost keys. The software is packaged on a Linux-based server and comes complete with all components required to run the system. Internet operation provides the flexibility to control schedules from multiple sites. The software is used in conjunction with CyberLock electronic lock cylinders and keys, which can be installed in standard mechanical door hardware or padlocks. Both locks and keys store a record of access events, providing a comprehensive audit report for management.
