Biometric Access Control

Appears in the issue.

MorphoAccess from Sagem Morpho Inc. of Tacoma, Washington, provides fast, accurate indoor or outdoor terminals for fingerprint processing in physical access control systems. Fingerprints can be authenticated against a contactless smart card or against a large database. It can be equipped with Fake Finger Detection for increased security. The MorphoAccess Enrollment and Management System captures fingerprints locally or through a network. It can import user ID data, check for duplicate records at enrollment, define individual and group access options, manage terminal groups, and download access data to distributed MorphoAccess terminals using standard Ethernet communication. It can also capture portraits, write data to MIFARE contactless cards, and manage card security keys.
