Iscon Video Imaging of Woburn, Massachusetts, offers a new thermo-conductive infrared imaging system designed for correctional institutions to deter smuggling of contraband hidden in clothing or glued to the body. In 30 seconds, the technology produces real-time, high-resolution, whole-body scans without using radiation. More accurate than physical pat-downs, the images reveal concealed objects, including cell phones, plastic shanks, tobacco, liquids, powder, pills, and tiny metal objects. The systems are available in three configurations and can be used together or separately for whole-body and close inspections. The ISCON 1000D whole body imaging system scans four sides of the body in 30 seconds. The GameChangeIR is a portable system that fits into a small suitcase for use at any location. The Mini Portal body imager provides full body scanning in a limited space.
