Dotworkz Systems of San Diego has introduced the E-Z Lock Pole Mounting System, which employs a tilt-and-locking mechanism to enable the positioning of surveillance cameras at the exact viewing angle needed to compensate for slanting poles or walls. It can also be used for mounting a camera to monitor an up/down application such as an escalator or traffic on a steep hill. Fabricated from 18-gauge steel, the system is compatible with virtually all camera enclosures from major manufacturers. It is easy to install, requiring only a standard screwdriver, and it fits poles with diameters from 1 to 2 1/2 inches. It is ideal for cameras that need to be periodically repositioned, such as a camera monitoring the addition of stories to a high-rise construction site.
