Evolis of Angers, France, has introduced new versions of its Pebble and Dualys color card printers. Pebble4 and Dualys3 come with a more powerful CPU and a new print head to improve the precision of any printed image. They also benefit from the latest encoding technologies, including ISO or JIS2 magnetic tracks and smart card with contact or contactless RFID, that can be seamlessly combined. The multiple encoding option makes it possible to personalize multiple-feature cards in a single pass. Other features include TCP-IP Ethernet connectivity in addition to a standard USB port, user-friendly installation program, an intuitive four-LED control panel, and printing drivers. The Pebble4 prints single-sided color cards, while the Dualys offers dual-sided printing.
