Compact Dome Camera

Bosch Security Systems, Inc. of Fairport, New York, has released a new compact indoor pan-tilt-zoom camera. The AutoDome Easy II is about one-quarter the size of a traditional pan-tilt-zoom dome camera and 20 percent smaller than most minidomes. It provides continuous 360-degree rotation and uses a high-performance zoom autofocus camera for increased range. The latest digital imaging technology delivers 530 TV lines of resolution and effective color imaging even in low-light conditions. It allows for 12 privacy masks, and masks can be black, white, or blurred. The company’s Bilinx technology allows for two-way communication over the video cable, reducing installation time. A heavy-duty, tamper-resistant aluminum housing and polycarbonate bubble protect the camera from vandalism and theft.
