Larson Electronics of Kemp, Texas, has released an infrared LED light designed to replace or augment a vehicle’s current headlights with infrared illumination. The LEDLB-20E-IR-MHL LED Infrared LED Headlight is a rugged and powerful LED light bar that gives operators the ability to illuminate the area in front of the vehicle with light that can only be seen using night-vision goggles or infrared camera systems. The unit is constructed with an extruded aluminum housing and a heavy-duty polycarbonate lens that resists scratching and breakage. The LED assembly contains 20 Edison Edixeon three-watt infrared emitters paired with high-purity optics. The units can operate between 9 and 42 VDC.
