Stanley Access Technologies, LLC, of Farmington, Connecticut, has introduced the Delayed Egress Option for the Stanley DuraGlide Automatic Sliding Door Systems, which provides a controlled exit for openings that require panic hardware for safe egress. The self-contained solution will deny exit to unauthorized personnel for 15 or 30 seconds, while sounding a local or remote alarm to alert security personnel. Durable magnetic locks provide protection for up to 1,200 pounds of shear force. Recessed panic hardware is easily identified with stickers for use. A key cylinder is provided to set the device to its closed and locked position. A nuisance delay time is incorporated for accidental pushing of panic bar. Users must obtain approval from a local fire marshal to install this system.
