Cameras from Siqura B.V. of Gouda, the Netherlands, now employ the Seawolf image sensor from Pixim Inc. of Mountain View, California. Pixim Digital Pixel System technology processes each pixel individually, so cameras have exceptional wide dynamic range capability. The Siqura BC14 camera comes in a traditional box-style housing. It does not smear, bloom, or generate color noise like older CCD image sensors, and it performs well in dim light, providing true color reproduction. It runs on either alternating or direct current, and it features an intuitive on-screen display interface to optimize imaging controls and configure features such as privacy masks.
