The new SHR-6164 Digital Video Recorder from SAMSUNG | GVI Security, Inc., of Carrollton, Texas, uses dual codec to record and transmit video via a network. It allows high-quality picture recording to the hard drive and continuous remote monitoring. The recorder has various backup options, including USB ports and built-in DVD-RW. It supports Web browser access and records up to 240 frames per second. User-friendly NET-i free remote-monitoring software maximizes convenience for the operator. The 16-channel recorder includes up to four channels of audio, Web browser access, BNC/VGA video outputs, and up to one terabyte hard drive capacity.
