Secura Key of Chatsworth, California, has introduced SK-NET Version 5.1, which supports the new NOVA.16 16-door control panel. The control panel creates a new system architecture, reduces cabling and installation costs, and facilitates system expansion. The NOVA.16 uses RS-485 to interconnect the new smart readers, which contain all inputs and outputs to control and monitor a single door. SK-NET 5.1 also supports new features in the SK-ACPE two-door control panel, such as built-in network connectivity and battery monitoring. The software is backward-compatible with legacy control panels. The included SK LAN Installer enables users to scan the entire network and locate all connected Secura Key control panels.
