Door Operator

An enhanced version of the 5700 Series LEO low-energy automatic door operator is now available from Norton Door Controls of Monroe, North Carolina. The device features a low-energy electric motor that slowly opens a door when activated by a switch or motion sensor. A mechanical closer returns the door to the closed position. A new inverter, door position ring, and built-in level have been added to the device to improve functionality and simplify installation. A selectable push-and-close feature senses when the hold-open time is not needed and allows the operator to skip the cycle and close like a standard door closer. An overload safety shut-off prevents motor damage by timing out and shutting the door when the activation signal exceeds two minutes.
