The MOBOTIX T24 IP video Door Station has a hemispheric camera with a complete pan­o­ramic view, so it captures video of people even if they don’t stand directly in front of the camera. Made by Mob­otix AG of Langmeil, Germany, the station includes integrated image-correction software to adjust the video for viewing. Captured images are digitally panned, tilted, and zoomed to ensure the best view. The door station can be controlled remotely through keyless access via PIN or through RFID trans­pond­ers. Visitors can leave digital voice messages directly on the unit. Network connection and power are provided by a network cable or on a two-strand bell wire, such as used in doorbells. The weatherproof, customizable system is suitable for outdoor use and can also serve as a two-way intercom.
