CBC (America) Corp. of Commack, New York, has released a new line of digital video recorders with state-of-the-art features, exceptional image quality, and a consistent platform among all models. The Digi-Master 8- and 16-Channel Triplex DVRs offer intuitive setup and operation using the same platform as the company’s 4-channel DR4N model. The units will accept up to 1.5 terabytes of internal storage to cover more than 60 days’ recording at 704 x 480 resolution. MPEG-4 compression saves high-quality images with smaller file sizes and allows more efficient transmission over Ethernet. The USB-2 port and optional CD-RW drive assure quick and easy archiving. The recorders are available in preconfigured kits or in components to work with existing systems.
