EMERGENCY TOWER

The new emergency phone tower from Talk-A-Phone Company of Niles, Illinois, accommodates two video surveillance cameras on a T-shaped camera arm. Using two cameras on the same tower wid­ens the operator’s view of the area, and us­ers can choose two types of cameras for different needs, for example, one 360-degree camera and one pan-tilt-zoom unit. Both cameras can communicate with the company’s analog or VoIP emergency phone via the phone’s auxiliary contacts, and a pan-tilt-zoom camera can be moved to a preset location when an emergency call is placed or assistance is summoned.
