External Detector

The REDWALL V is a new and re-engineered version of the REDWALL series of external detection devices from Optex Europe of Maidenhead, Berkshire, United Kingdom. The new family features five integrated technologies that yield high capture rates and low false alarm rates. The technologies include a quad passive infrared sensor, a temperature sensor, a light sensor, an active infrared sensor, and a patented three-axis accelerometer that indicates which angle is best for detection by LED lights. The intelligent unit continually analyzes outside conditions and adjusts to changes in temperature and light. It has anti-vandal features that will trigger an alarm when the unit is knocked or covered. The reinforced polycarbonate unit withstands attempts to destroy it.
