Tyco Fire & Security of Boca Raton, Florida, has introduced American Dynamics SpeedDome Ultra 8 programmable dome cameras, which provide 420X total zoom and 540 TV lines of resolution for crisp details in high-quality images. They feature electronic image stabilization to reduce the vibration of images without losing resolution. This is particularly useful in areas where vibration is a problem, such as on a pole near a highway. Wide dynamic range, digital slow shutter, and day/night functionality compensate for varying light conditions within the same scene.
