HID Global of Irvine, California, has launched the UltraCard Premium line of ID cards. Preferred for high-definition printing applications, the affordable, durable card is ideal for the Fargo HDP5000 and other direct-to-card applications. Its composite material construction provides for maximum durability, flexibility, and card life, with optimal resolution print quality for retransfer printing, lamination, and fluorescent panel ribbon-printing applications. It can be used with any card printer on the market. In addition to blank stock, the UltraCard Premium is available in a variety of configurations including custom HoloMark, custom VeriMark, and magnetic stripe. The new card does not fluoresce, and it serves as a direct replacement for UltraCard III and Smartshield cards.
