A new edition of the Datacard Web ID identity information software from Datacard Group of Minnetonka, Minnesota, helps enterprises manage complex ID programs easily and securely. Version 1.1 includes a new module for first-responder ID programs and supports Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista operating systems. The software allows users to access ID photos and other demographic details from any network connection. Users can enroll cardholders, issue secure IDs, and verify identities remotely, accommodating organizations with multiple locations. New first responder features allow users to search the database by personnel, organization, qualification, or rank, and incident commanders can quickly issue badges to authorized personnel in a crisis.
