Version 5.7 of the Asure ID Exchange photo identification software line launches the iDIRECTOR technology platform, which allows multiple applications to be loaded onto a smart card via a single process. The software features RF IDeas Air ID for logical access control; QI Systems Qi Wave for electronic vending applications; and Bioscrypt Fingerprint for biometrics. New from Irvine, California-based HID Identity, a new organization within HID Global, the platform’s architecture enables licensees to integrate their technology into host applications, allowing OEMs and system integrators to extend their products with smart-card offerings.
