ICx Technologies of Billerica, Massachusetts, has introduced an affordable, uncooled infrared camera that is also equipped with continuous optical zoom capabilities. The DefendIR-CZ allows a user to change fields of vision while keeping the target in focus at all times. It features a 30- to 90-millimeter lens and mirrors traditional CCD zoom functionality.
