Videolarm of Decatur, Georgia, has introduced the IR200-36 Infrared Illuminator for night video surveillance. Illumination distances and beam angles can be customized to surveillance needs and environment using a single infrared illuminator. It illuminates distances from 100 to 660 feet. A patent-pending adjustment mechanism allows the projecting beam angle to be adjusted manually using any flathead screwdriver. The adjustable power setting reduces hot spots and washouts associated with the combination of day/night surveillance cameras. The housing is constructed from rugged weather-resistant aluminum and polycarbonate for longevity. LED technology delivers a 20,000-hour life expectancy and an integrated light sensor automatically activates and deactivates the infrared function. Other features include an automatic fan for heat dissipation, surge protection, low power requirements of 15 to 42 watts, and optional brackets and mounts.
