Lumenera Corporation of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, has released two new intelligent camera models that respond to security threats in real time. The Li165 is designed for critical surveillance applications with low-light conditions and/or fast motion. Streaming full 1376 x 1032 megapixel resolution at up to 15 frames per second, the camera transmits MJPEG or H.264 images across a standard 10/100 Base T network interface.  The Li175 combines 1.3 megapixel image quality with video analytics to help automate surveillance. A CMOS sensor provides images at up to 21 frames per second. It also has peak-white inversion and anti-blooming features for dealing with glare. Both feature power-over-Ethernet, analog loop-out, advanced iris control, and improved software interface. The company can also provide a selection of weatherproof enclosures.
