Appears in the issue.

Basler Vision Technologies of Ahrensburg, Germany, has launched a new line of IP cameras with CMOS sensors, each featuring a different resolution. The BIP-1280c-dn high-definition model provides real-time video with frame rates up to 30 frames per second using M-JPEG, MPEG-4, and H.264 compression. The BIP2-2500c-dn IP fixed box camera model is equipped with a 5-megapixel sensor to record the smallest details at a frame rate of 9 frames per second. CMOS sensors reduce smearing effects and blooming that are sometimes seen with CCD sensors. All models support multistreaming and multiencoding, providing up to four image streams using any encoder combination.
