Low-Light Camera

The ChromaNox line of EMCCD low-light security cameras from FLIR Systems, Inc., of Portland, Oregon, deliver exceptional image quality in light levels from bright sunlight to dark starlight conditions. The cameras feature proprietary image-processing algorithms to bring out hidden details. Designed for demanding environments, the cameras meet Mil-Spec operating temperature requirements of –40 to 71°C. Cameras are available in VGA and SXGA resolution and in color and mon­ochrome models. The Chroma­Nox 6 features analog video and Camera Link digital video, while the ChromaNox 12 features a digital video output. A wide range of 1⁄2-inch format C-mount lenses enables both close- and long-range observation in light levels not considered possible with standard CCD and CMOS cameras.
