Frankentek Yacht Systems, LLC, of Medford, New Jersey, creates security systems especially for yachts. For CAKEWALK, the largest superyacht built in America since 1930, the company installed a one-wire system requiring only a single cable loop, supporting up to 99 devices, to be run on each deck. All doors, hatches, deck sensors, and exterior door buttons can be controlled from the security system touch screens. An underwater pan-tilt-zoom camera is mounted between the rudders for security use, as well as for prop and rud­der inspections and recrea­tional underwater viewing. A multipurpose wireless paging system allows crew members to be contacted discreetly.
