New megapixel cameras from DVTel Inc. of Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, feature Adaptive Visualization Technology (AVT) for exceptional video quality with low bandwidth and storage requirements. By incorporating AVT algorithms, advanced MPEG-4 compression, and multicasting technologies, the cameras can produce more than four times the image clarity while using only about 20 percent of the average M-JPEG IP camera storage and bandwidth. AVT algorithms continuously adapt to changing scene conditions to automatically improve and maintain picture clarity under a range of surveillance conditions, including day-night operating modes.
