New 5-megapixel cameras from IndigoVision of Edinburgh, Scotland, offer high image quality and storage cost savings. They deliver 12 frames per second at 5-megapixel resolution, H.264 compression, and in low-light, the cameras offer up to four simultaneous video streams, each with independent resolution settings. The ONVIF-compliant cameras work within the company’s distributed network architecture, removing the requirement for a management server and making installation easy. The configuration also provides scalability, reduces image acquisition time, and lowers total cost of ownership. The 5MP cameras are available in bullet, fixed, minidome, and microdome form factors.
