Mini dome cameras

JVC Professional Products Company of Wayne, New Jersey, has introduced two new high-performance fixed IP mini-dome cameras. Easy to install, the cameras provide versatile monitoring with power over Ethernet capability. The VN-C215VP4U is vandal-resistant and ideal for outdoor applications, while the VN-C215V4U is designed for indoor use. Both cameras feature high-resolution, 1/4-inch interline transfer CCDs with 380,000 effective pixels that reproduce detailed images. They are fully compatible with the company’s hybrid network video recorder, producing images in the Motion-JPEG format. Camera setup and viewing of images can be achieved via a standard Web browser over the Internet or via SMTP or FTP. Multicast capabilities enable multiple client access.
