New autoIP network cameras from GVI Security of Carrollton, Texas, provide 1.3-megapixel video in demanding light conditions. The camera combines a 1⁄3-inch CCD Ex-View-HAD progressive scan image sensor, infrared cut filter, and wide dynamic range capability. Using H.264 compression retains high-quality video at a low data rate. The antivandal housing provides a rugged package for indoor and outdoor applications, and the attached heater and fan allow camera operation even in extreme temperatures. Power over Ethernet and an automatic-focus lens combine to make installation easy and quick. Cameras are compatible with autoNVR, razberi, and autoIP software.
