The AXIS 233D is a day and night network dome camera designed for demanding security installations. Made by Axis Communications of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, the camera includes features such as electronic image stabilizing, area zoom, image freezing between presets, and e-flip for automatically rotating video 180 degrees. It can pan and tilt at a speed of 450 degrees per second between any of its 100 preset positions. It can also move precisely at 0.05 degrees per second for slow tracking. It delivers video in all resolutions using MPEG-4 or motion JPEG compression. It also includes video motion detection, two-way audio, audio detection alarm, image upload, scheduled and triggered event functionality with alarm notification, four external input connections, and four relay outputs for controlling doors and light. Security features include multiple user access levels, HTTPS encryption, and address filtering.
