Visonic Ltd. of Bloomfield, Connecticut, has released its first outdoor IP camera, the NC543W. The company’s QuickFit Surveillance Kits, which include the PowerLink2 Broadband Adapter, are widely requested by installers and central stations for remote viewing and video verification. The NC543W is a full-featured IP WiFi/Ethernet camera with infrared illuminators. It works with PowerLink2, or it can operate independently as a standalone or system camera. No Ethernet cable is needed. The IP camera installs outdoors with 12 VAC power only.
