The AV8360 360-degree camera and the AV8180 180-degree camera from Arecont Vision of Altadena, California, offer complete panoramic views with real-time, high-definition images. The company’s SurroundVideo technology uses four 2-megapixel images in each camera for true 8-megapixel views that do not require dewarping technology. Both cameras feature power-over-Ethernet capability and four high-quality lenses enclosed in a 6-inch dome, providing an efficient replacement for up to 24 conventional NTSC dome cameras. The cameras deliver high resolution with full motion progressive scan video at 22 frames per second. MegaVideo image processing architecture can sustain more than six billion operations per second. Real-time or archived zoomed and full-field images can be viewed separately or simultaneously. Real-time motion detection offers size and sensitivity controls from up to 64 separate detection zones per channel.
