Portable ID Readers

Three new portable reader solutions are available from RF IDeas of Schaumburg, Illinois. The pcProx & AIR ID USB Dongle card reader incorporates all the features of larger read­ers into a compact, cable-free format. The pcProx PCMCIA Card Reader offers straightforward installation, configuration, and flexibilities. The pcProx ExpressCard form factor is designed to provide interchangeability among computers and other devices where low power and small size are critical. The three readers support proximity and contactless smart card technologies, allowing customers to leverage their existing card systems for applications beyond physical security such as PC access control, employee identification, and time and attendance.
