Portable surveillance towers

Appears in the issue.

Kansas City-based Portable Intelligence Collection Systems produces self-contained, portable, Internet accessible digital surveillance and communications towers for a wide range of uses. The towers can be used as video sentinels at remote or unmanned facilities, as construction-site guards, or to collect data for public and private applications. The rugged trailer-mounted units make it easy to set up sophisticated, interactive, wireless surveillance networks in minutes, with or without an external power source. Tower platforms use pan-tilt-zoom cameras, high-speed wireless broadband radios, radar, and other peripherals as needed to analyze, collect, transmit, and store surveillance information. Real-time data can be controlled and monitored from any broadband-connected computer. Offering high-wind and extreme weather tolerance, units are useful in remote, temporary, and emergency applications.
