The Maxim 75D Access Power Controller from Altronix of Brooklyn, New York, features resettable PTC protected outputs to avoid damage due to short-circuit and over-current conditions. It converts a 115 VAC 60 Hz input into eight 12 VDC and eight 24 VDC independently controlled outputs, and it provides 10 amps at 12 VDC and 10 amps at 24 VDC. The outputs can be operated in both failsafe and/or failsecure modes. Auxiliary power outputs (unswitched) are rated at 2.5 amps. All outputs incorporate built-in selectable latching or nonlatching fire alarm interface. The units also monitor for AC failure, low batteries, and battery presence. This controller is just one of the company’s line of power controllers, all of which interface with access control panels and power accessories and locking devices
