Power Controller

Appears in the issue.

The new ACM4 Access Power Controller from Altronix of Brooklyn, New York, distributes 12/24 VAC or VDC over four independently controlled fail-safe and/or fail-secure outputs to power and control electric strikes and magnetic locks. A fire alarm interface is field-selectable for any or all outputs with individual LEDs to indicate lock status. Designed for smaller access control applications, the device’s outputs can be used as dry form “C” contacts. The outputs can be activated by an open collector sink or normally open dry trigger input from an access control system, card reader, keypad, or pushbutton. The unit can be powered by one common power source or by two totally independent power sources, and it is available with or without an enclosure.
