Honeywell Power Products of Northford, Connecticut, has launched a new line of power supplies designed to solve power availability problems for expanding intrusion alarm systems. The new supplies allow installers to integrate additional wired devices like door contacts, motion sensors, keypads, and other intrusion accessories. Power monitoring enables the alarm panel to supervise the power supply and send out notification if abnormal operation is detected. The HPS3PM series provides three amps of power, while the HPS5PM series delivers four amps.
